The weekend is over :(

We had a pretty good weekend. On Friday we just stayed at home since it was rainy outside. Then on Saturday me, Savanna, and Nana went and met Mamaw at the Art Museum to see a live performence of "Between the Lions". At first Savanna was scared but then once she finally turned around and watched it she loved it! She was laughing and clapping the whole time! I think she was mainly scared of the daddy lion. Probably because before the show her crazy Mamaw kissed the daddy lion and they both shook and I think it freaked Savanna out! We also got to see the Jim Henson exhibit..however, Miss Piggy was not there. Thank goodness Savanna forgot about her because Nana told her she was going to see Miss Piggy. We did get to see Bert and Ernie though! It turned out to be a fun day...then when we got home Scott had hooked up the new Wii! It is so much fun. I think everyone should get one! Today I went looking at new mobile homes with Scott's mom and grandmother. There are really some nice mobile homes out there! I think she is going to get a 6 bedroom one...and of course Savanna will have her very own room there right across from her Granny's room. After I got home,we played the Wii some more. Then I cooked supper and did some homework. I am really ready for the summer already just to have some time off from school.... hopefully it will go by fast (thats what everyone always says at least!) Tomorrow we go back to school and work :( Okay thats all for now!

My Little Helper

Savanna is growing up so fast! She loves to "help" me do everything. We got home from work and daycare yesterday and started cleaning the kitchen. She helps unload the dishwasher by handing me all the forks and spoons. She even likes to hand me plates so we have to be VERY careful with that. So we got the dishwasher unloaded and loaded back up. Then we did some laundry. She sits on the dryer and throws clothes into the washing machine. Then when we are putting clothes in the dryer I will hand her clothes from the washing machine and she will put them in the dryer. She gets so excited and thinks she is such a big girl. She even has her own little broom to sweep with when I sweep the floor. So after we did a little cleaning we cooked supper. She sits on the counter while I cook. She stayed busy by coloring on bills... After she draws something she says "Look Mama!" and I say "ooh pretty baby! What is that?"...her response - "Apple". She loves drawing apples. Then she wants me to draw apples while I am cooking.. so of course I do. Then her daddy came home and she was so excited. She just loves her daddy. So after supper I go to my new office - which I just LOVE and do some homework. When I got done with homework, Scott was giving Savanna a bath and I noticed they had cleaned her room (and it really needed it). So I think we had a pretty good night. I wish I could be at home with them tonight but I have school :( Oh well, I know they will have fun anyway!

Our night

Yesterday after work and after I picked up Savanna from daycare we went and picked up Layla so that her parents could have a nice anniversary dinner. So I took Savanna and Layla to Target (one of our favorite places). We met one of my friends Jennie there. Thank goodness she was there because about halfway through Target I had to seperate Savanna and Layla into different buggys. They weren't really being bad, just kinda wild. So after we left Target we went by Chick-Fil-A to pick up supper. Oh and Tuesday nights kids eat free so I got me, Scott, and both girls dinner for less than $12! So we go back to the house and they eat supper and play for a little while before taking a bath. After their bath they played some more and were doing flips all over the living room! By this time Alexis and JA were there. I think the girls have fun together. They always seem to! Then last night in the middle of the night Savanna woke up. Scott was up with her for a while and she never would go back to sleep so they came and got me. Finally Savanna went back to sleep... and she did not want to wake up this morning! Hopefully she will sleep through the night tonight!

My Family

So this is my first post...going to try this blog thing and see how it goes. My name is Nadia, I am 25 years old, work full time, go to school full time and have a wonderful husband and amazing baby girl. Well she isn't really much of a baby anymore. She will be 2 in May and wow that time went by FAST!

Me- I am currently attending Mississippi College and my major is Marketing. Hopefully I will graduate May 2011 - which is still a long time away! I know, I know, that time will just fly by! I have heard that plenty of times...but right now it does not feel like it is flying by. So hopefully by Savanna's 3rd birthday I will be a college graduate! Yay!!! I am currently an underwriter for flood insurance. Sounds exciting huh? Actually I really do like it! Its great to have a job that you don't mind coming to every day. I love to spend time with my friends and family. I am the oldest of 5 kids - 1 sister and 3 brothers. My parents are great, I am glad they live pretty close by. I have a GREAT group of friends that I am so thankful for. So thats a little bit about me....

Scott- Scott is my wonderful husband who I love so much. The best words to describe Scott- GREAT DADDY ! It is so nice to see your husband and how he interacts with your child. They are so sweet together. He is also an awesome husband. I know he is always there to help me and he is always on my side. We will have been married 5 years on October 22. Actually, we were friends before we started dating. I never imagined that we would end up married, but I am so glad we did! Scott is so supportive of me going back to school and without him I know I couldn't do it.

Savanna- Savanna is our sweet little girl... She will be 2 on May 15th. She is a cutie! She thinks she is grown up. She tends to be sort of bossy - but its so cute. We are trying to get her to stop her little temper tantrums which I guess is just part of the terrible twos (which by the way I found out is from 18 months to 3 years old). She is a daddy's girl for sure! She loves spending time with daddy and mama, getting her toenails painted, watching Barney, Elmo, and Bolt, and playing with her blocks, barbies, and kitchen that Santa brought her. She loves her uncles (my brothers) Patrick and Parker. She also likes to boss her Aunt Sara around. Her best friend is Layla - they are so cute together! And she is so smart - and I really think she is, not just because I am her mama.

Well that's a little bit about us. I am not really sure what to write about on here so I guess this is it for now!
